Youth sports in the United States face several challenges that have been identified by experts, parents, myself, and those involved in sports administration. Some of the most common problems found in baseball/softball: Overemphasis on Winning: The intense focus on winning at all costs can lead to a detrimental environment where the joy of playing and skill development take a back seat. This pressure can result in burnout and reduced long-term participation.
